Obama Indoctrination Later Today

Tin Foil Hats Arm Up!

Tin Foil Hats Arm Up!

Well the day has finally come. Today Obama will indoctrinate your children in his liberal ways. Ensuring the survival of his cause, and moving toward your feared world of “White slavery.”

In other news… The President is going to speak to the school children of the United States in a non-partisan way, that other Presidents before him have done on more then one occasion. Put on your tinfoil hats people, someone from Texas said that he will be placing subliminal socialist messages in with the video!

When will the conservatives realize that making your fringe right-wing popular isn’t the best idea? Everyone knows there are fringe left-wing nuts, but there aren’t (Fox) news stations out there agreeing with them and giving them legitimacy. Therein lies the difference.

Tea-Bagging Commences Across Nation

Political Articles No Comments »

Tea-baggers have been out in force today promoting their ignorance to the public.  An interview of an organizer in Syracuse revealed that she was currently on medicare and had retired on disability, but didn’t want this nation becoming a nanny-welfare state where people accept government money.  I’m guessing she doesn’t include herself as one of the participants as she doesn’t understand that all of her programs are government subsidized as she didn’t pay enough taxes over her lifetime to cover what she is now receiving monthly.

Most of these “Tea-baggers” also fail to realize that they aren’t protesting Obama’s “Tax” but George W. Bush, whom many of them approved of while he was in office.  Obama hasn’t made a single change to this years tax code, he also wasn’t the only President to sign a stimulus bill.

As the country slowly moves toward recovery, it’s nice to see people still getting out there to claim that they know the stimulus plan will not work.  Because they are all economists themselves, obviously, except most economists say the best way out of a recession, when everyone else stops spending is for the Government to spend.

If everyone stops spending at the same time, which would have happened if the Government hadn’t upped their amount of spending, then NOTHING would be spent and the wheels of “Capitalism” would grind to a halt.

For those that claim that giving the money directly back to the taxpayers is the best plan, you also need to re-think things in the eyes of a larger economy that doesn’t necessarily include you getting everything you would like. Giving “Joe the Taxpayer” the money directly doesn’t help very much in the overall picture.  Having an extra $500 in your pocket when everyone says times are “tough” would cause you to place the money away for a time when it is really tough, which doesn’t help the economy one bit.

Giving the money to banks so that they don’t collapse, and can turn around and lend that money out to current and new businesses will help create jobs or retain jobs that would have been lost.

Once the widespread panic slows down, companies will also stop using the excuse of a recession to fire people they wanted to fire before, but didn’t have a good enough excuse, and they will start hiring as sales pick up again.

Fox news promoted this Tea-Bag Initiative and took it as their own, whether they started it in the first place, or just used the Pirates to take over the steaming ship, it has now become a Fox Right-Wing Media Extravaganza.

Nice going participants.

Barack Obama President-Elect

Political Articles No Comments »

So far every indication is that Barack Obama will be a good President.  We’re all hoping for great, and that may end up being the case as well. He hasn’t even stepped into office yet, and has accomplished more then a majority of all incoming Presidents before him.  His approval ratings are high, and he seems to be willing to compromise on both sides of the isle. Let’s hope for a continuation of this throughout his Presidency.

The United States Of Racists

Political Articles No Comments »

Well it’s good to see there are enough people in the United States willing to vote for a black person for President.  It’s not good to see how much this has brought out the rest of the racist population in full force.  Maybe one day people will stop being ignorant and learn to live life instead of hating everyone.  Just because daddy beat you as a child and told you it was all because of the big bad black people, doesn’t mean you can’t grow a brain and realize it was a lie.

I would have thought people were enlightened enough these days to get over their idiotic notions.

Obama Wins

Political Articles No Comments »

Barring any strange Cheating, this election is over.  Obama will win it and most likely when the count is done, in a landslide.  Finally no more Bush policies.  Picked up more Democrat senate, and house seats as well.   Here’s to a great election night.

As a Republican analyst put it:

” All we need is 9 votes on the Supreme Court and we could pull this thing off! “

So true, so true.    Although I don’t think that will happen this time.   But we’ll see what happens through out the rest of the count.

McCain Campaign Hemorrhaging Women Voters

Political Articles 1 Comment »

By Sam Jones

In a somewhat expected turn, the McCain campaign has started to lose the women voters they attracted after adding Sarah Palin to the ticket and having her speak at the Republican National Convention.  In what was started as a political stunt in the first place, to attract the women that felt left out by the Democrats when they chose Barack Obama over Hillary Clinton, the McCain campaigns boosted numbers have started to decline.

In the first time since the campaign began, Obama’s numbers are over 50% with a larger majority of women voters siding with him.  As well as McCain having a larger number of voters still “uncertain” about their choice.  It appears women haven’t been very happy watching gaffe after gaffe coming out of Palin’s mouth.  It does women absolutely no good to have a moron close to the Presidency.

I was never a Hillary Clinton supporter, and have always supported Barack Obama, but at least we all knew Hillary was very intelligent.  She could have gone to the White House without setting women back forty years.

Palin should have never been so hastily put on the ticket, and the person who picked her should be fired from the McCain campaign.

Bailout Stalls With McCains Help

Bush outside the White House

Bush outside the White House.

By Sam Jones

After a mad dash (slowed by an appearance on a television interview), McCain ends up in Washington D.C., just in time to do absolutely nothing to help with the current economic crisis.  McCain, who canceled on the David Letterman show Wednesday shortly after suspending his campaign to deal with the economic crisis, was reported as staying silent throughout most of the talks on Thursday.

It appears that McCain might not be as important or powerful as he was hoping, and will not be winning points for his “self-sacrificing” move to save our country.  While McCain suspended his campaign, Obama vowed to continue with the debates, and also appeared at the White House to be in on the historic discussion (He may have been spotted outside the White House after the discussion chewing gum and walking at the same time as well – Congratulations Sen. Obama).

McCain’s campaign, in a transparent attempt to avoid Palin’s debate with Sen. Biden, suggested they reschedule the Presidential debates for next Thursday and do away with the Vice Presidential debate.  It is fairly obvious now that the McCain campaign has been hiding Sarah Palin and attempting to bring as little media coverage her way as possible, but this stunt is beyond something even the GOP has tried before.  Is Sarah Palin capable of being a leader and talking coherently with the people or is she not?  Clearly she is not.  We’ve already had one bumbling President for eight years, are we ready for at least four more?

If you do not believe the GOP has given you enough reason to vote for the Democrats in the last couple weeks, then I feel very sorry for this country.

Obama Says NO To McCains Political Move

Political Articles No Comments »
Barack H. Obama

Barack H. Obama

By Sam Jones

Barack Obama denied McCain’s attempt to back out of the debates Friday calling for McCain to step up and play with the big boys.  McCain had attempted a political move earlier with his call to delay the debates on the premise that they should be dealing with the current financial crisis.  Obama pushed the spotlight back on McCain stating that as the possible next President they should be able to “deal with more than one thing at once.”

This is the right move for Obama and hopefully the American people can see that.  The entire attempt to reschedule the debates was an obvious move to get more time for McCain to prepare for something he is woefully unprepared for, and to attempt to make Obama appear uncaring about our current financial situation.

The entire election process is proving that the longer you spend in the Senate the less willing you are to give up your deeply ingrained political ways, which must be done to be an effective President.  It is clear that McCain is not ready to lead the country in a new direction.

McCain Suspends Campaign

John S. McCain

John S. McCain

By Sam Jones

In another weak attempt at using America’s troubles as a political stepping stone, John S. McCain suspended his campaign in a claimed attempt at bipartisanship to help with the current financial crisis.   Anyone with an IQ higher then 50 knows that this is an attempt to make it appear that Barack H. Obama doesn’t care about the economy when he rightly refuses to suspend his own campaign.

Obama should not follow McCains weak ploy at political points.  Although knowing the American people, this could actually lower his polling numbers, it is the right move to continue his campaign.   In another political move, McCain also called for a delay in the debates scheduled for Friday evening.   We all know he is scared to debate Obama, but is it really necessary to delay them?  Would he like the debates delayed until November 5th?   It is for the “Good of the country” that we don’t have our politicians debating on National Television? The debates should go on as scheduled. It’s interesting that McCain would be afraid to debate, John F. Kerry wiped the floor with G.W. Bush in the 2004 Debates and that didn’t help him in the least.

I tend to avoid watching Fox News, but I would venture to guess they are currently talking about how much of a Hero McCain is for this self-sacrificing move in a time of great need for his country.  If only it were true.
